Welcome,
Teacher Friend.

Pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee and let's get to know each other!

NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Steph Yesil

The fact that you're here means you're probably in the same place I was in 2015.

  • Ready to step out of the classroom but having no idea how your skills would transfer or who would hire a teacher.
  • Confused, exhausted, or uncertain of what you’re truly meant to be doing in your career.
  • Sick of applying for jobs and never hearing back.
  • Hungry to step into real, unshakeable confidence since you know you have so much to offer!

And if you're anything like I was those years ago, you're unsure about HOW you're supposed to get there.

Several years, four companies, eight roles, one board of directors spot, and a 400% salary increase later, I'm on a mission to empower current and former educators around the world to claim their true self-confidence, land more job offers, and win high-impact promotions.

How, you ask?

By sharing tons of business insider tips, industry trends, job leads, and loads of practical advice to give you the winning edge.

But wait, there's more!

I'll stick with you well AFTER you land your next role so you have plenty of support in setting up your new routines and crushing it at your new company. Once you settle in, let's talk about your first promotion.

How I Got Here...

Embarking on my journey as a Teach For America teacher, I was filled with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose. Little did I know, I was about to dive DIRECTLY into the deep end of challenges that educators have faced for years. Grappling with long work hours and a limiting work environment, it felt nearly impossible to find time for myself let alone explore career growth opportunities.

Despite the hurdles, I soldiered on - I spent several years teaching at my first school, created innovative technology solutions for my kiddos, worked tirelessly to "change the trajectory" of my students' academic lives and battled politics every step of the way.

Instead of leaving teaching after those formative years, I decided to try my hand at teaching in a different district to gain a more complete picture of the varying quality of education in different zip codes. After learning a tremendous amount and earning my "highly effective teacher" distinction (while getting hit with a pay cut at the same time...ohhh, education), I realized it was time for me to step out and carve my own unique career path. Here are the 10 things that happened to me when I quit teaching.

I went from teaching 85 students a year to working on teams that served over 12,000,000 students. I've worked for startups, mid-sized companies, and one of the world's heaviest hitters in educational publishing. I've started two of my own companies and am living my best life.

Which Brings Me To You.

Today, after working with thousands of educators, I'm here to share the wisdom and practical advice of the world's transitioned teachers with YOU. Together, we'll explore how to gather the right career data and transform it into tools that enhance your life beyond the classroom.

My bottom line is this: I'm here to serve. My company is built on a bedrock of love, a passion for what’s possible and a commitment to be an unstoppable force for good.

Through our free content, online training programs and anything else we might offer — we’re in this to make a difference. To help you build a life that you truly love. A life that’s one-of-a-kind and brilliantly tailored for you.

I say the following with absolute clarity: I’m not helping you find a new role simply to escape your old one. I’m helping you elevate your purpose, skills, and impact since that's what the world really needs. You deserve to be in a mission-driven role that you love where you can thrive AND do great work for the world.

I'm here to guide you every step of the way as you begin this exciting new chapter of your professional life. Together, we'll explore how a career change can become your reality. We'll uncover what it takes to find yourself in a role where peace, wellness and fulfillment await.

Why I Do This Work

Yes, this is a business. Yes, I sell things. And yes, I’m proud to earn a living doing it. But most of what I build is free.

Because people don’t need more inspiration. They need better information. And most of it is not easy to find.

I used to be a teacher. When I left, I didn’t have a guide. No clear path. No real explanation of how hiring works outside of schools. Just trial, error, and second-guessing.

Schools reward one thing. Companies reward another.

If you don’t understand that, you stay stuck. Or you keep applying and hear nothing back.

That’s what I see every day.

There are thousands of experienced educators trying to make this move right now. Smart people. Hardworking people. People who should be getting interviews. Instead, they’re guessing what roles to apply to, underselling their experience, and getting filtered out before anyone actually reads their background. Not because they’re unqualified. Because they haven't learned how to make this change.

That’s the work.

Helping you understand how hiring actually works. Helping you reposition your experience. Helping you show up like someone companies are already looking for. No “you can do anything” messaging. Just strategy that holds up in a competitive market.

You Might Wonder Why I Left My Corporate Career to Do This...

I left on purpose.

Those roles were not my dream jobs. This is.

This is the work I choose. The life I built.

I’m in control of my schedule. I'm compensated in direct correlation to the value I create. Not based on a fixed salary band someone else decided for me.

I finally built the work-life balance that everyone wants.

I get to do meaningful work every single day. I get to fill in all the gaps for my favorite people.

Thousands of former educators building new careers, contributing in new ways, and getting paid accordingly.

That matters to me.

Because I didn’t leave teaching to settle. And I don’t expect you to either.

I left the classroom. I did not stop teaching.

I just changed what I teach, and who I’m teaching it to.

If you’re ready to move on, I’ll show you how to do it properly.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. I hope this is just the beginning of our relationship. I’d love to learn more about you.
